50/1 TREBLE LANDED (NOT LONG AFTER 87/1 DOUBLE ALSO LANDED)!

Friday 5th July was a good day for NMP members as my nap of the day - Brave Nation (advised 5/1 to 9/2) obliged in a 5f sprint handicap at Doncaster and we had him covered in a strong single and in four trebles with two winning football picks (draws in the Spain v Germany and Portugal v France games at the Euros) and my Saturday nap at Haydock, Epic Poet in the Old Newton Cup.

Although Haydock was abandoned and we didn't get an opportunity to land a +90 pt profit chop from Epic Poet in the end (who had been backed from 10/1 into 9/2 ish at the time of abandonment), we still had four winning trebles returned (three of which were effectively doubles, and the full treble which did come in returned odds of 50/1!).

The result comes only a few weeks after we had Dark Trooper (25/1 into 4/1) touched off in the Wokingham (second) for a similar return. We actually landed a double on two other Wathnan runners at Ascot (Leovanni and Shareholder) who were backed at 8/1 and 8/1 or 10/1 and 7/1 ante post, depending on the firm of choice - if Dark Trooper had won, though, we'd have landed three Royal Ascot doubles!

I am sure we will get many more opportunities to land another big one soon now the summer is here as this is traditionally our best period of the year :-)
