Christmas Treble Landed!

With there being a two-day break in the UK Racing calendar on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it was nice to sign off for a couple of days with a super Saturday over the jumps.

Credo (11/2) travelled well but was touched off into third the Tommy Whittle at Haydock, however, we were 3/3 in the subsequent ITV4 races at Ascot.

Crambo (5/1) kicked us off at the Berkshire track by getting up narrowly from Paisley Park in the Long Walk Hurdle and Venetia Williams’ recent French recruit, Victtorino (5/1), followed up in the Silver Cup Trophy under Charlie Deutsch.

The icing on the cake, though, was Luccia (6/1) winning the concluding handicap at Ascot - to land a 34/1 ish double with Victtorino and a 164/1 treble with Victtorino and Crambo - what great timing before Christmas :-)

We have also backed Crambo ante post at 20/1 for the Stayers Hurdle at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival - our first ante post for that important week in March. Fingers crossed he continues to progress and gives us a run for our money in the spring (generally 8/1 now)!
